Russel House Denver, CO

mixed/multifamily type I-A / III-A

Role: Project Architect

Russel House sits in a vibrant Denver community along a key residential and business corridor. This artery, South Broadway, claims the names of both “Antique Mile” and “Green Mile.” A core player in the City of Denver’s Walkable Streets initiatives, Platt Park is a mecca of restaurants, live music venues, breweries, and shops. Anchor a disused and auto-abused intersection, the project serves as a gateway to infill-development and a pedestrian traffic generator.

The project consists of (5) levels of Type III-A construction above Type I-A podium while playing host to 283 market rate units, an array of resident amenities, and restaurant/retail shell. Developed in-step with the district planning board’s vision, the client and design team were intent on driving the future success of this neighborhood’s enlivened vision.
